The Grand Haven Children’s Museum was founded to address a critical need along the West Michigan Lakeshore: equitable access to early learning opportunities that support children’s development and help families thrive.

The Grand Haven Children’s Museum will engage all children with hands-on learning experiences that spark imagination, pique curiosity, enhance creativity and develop problem-solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder and joy.

Our goal is to raise a new generation of compassionate problem solvers and critical thinkers, and build more connected, stronger and healthier families.

Through the pursuit of our mission, GHCM will play an important role in sustaining the greater Grand Haven area as a vibrant, family-oriented, culturally rich, and connected community.

Our vision is to create a high-quality children’s museum that helps all children and their families thrive through extraordinary play and experience-driven learning.
